Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 16, 2026
CAMPMAIL helps parents write and send daily letters to their children at summer camp. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account details: your name and email address.
- Optional mobile number and messaging preferences, if you enable text check-ins.
- Camper details you enter: name, interests, camp name, and the updates and photos you add for the letters.
- The letters generated, and their delivery status.
How we use it
We use your information solely to provide the service: to generate personalized letters, to send your daily check-in if you opted in, and to deliver letters at your direction. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your mobile number with third parties for their marketing.
Service providers
We rely on a few trusted providers to run CAMPMAIL, who process data only to provide their service to us: hosting and database (Vercel/Neon), text messaging (Twilio), letter generation (Anthropic), news lookups, and payment processing (Stripe).
Your choices
You can edit or delete your campers, updates, and letters in the app, turn off text check-ins anytime (or reply STOP to a message), and request deletion of your account by emailing us. See our SMS Terms & Consent for messaging specifics.
